aeqi vs Hyperagent: an agent workforce and a company computer, compared.

Choose Hyperagent if you run a team already and want a fleet of agents, each working in its own browser and shell, to take a brief this afternoon and come back with a finished website, video, deck, or dashboard by evening.

Choose AEQI if what's missing isn't another deliverable but the business that would commission it in the first place — a staffed team, a website, a ledger of decisions, and a memory that outlasts any single run.

What Hyperagent is

Hyperagent comes from the team behind Airtable and launched publicly in February 2026. Its own line: “Agents that ship real, powerful work.” Each agent runs in its own computing environment — a real browser, a real shell — and takes a brief through to a finished thing: a hosted website, a video, a slide deck, a hiring dashboard, not a plan or a to-do list. Pricing is usage-based: $1,000 in free credits at signup, then token spend per run; sample jobs on its homepage price from $3.88 to $24.79. The company also runs a Founding 500 program, putting $20,000 in inference credits — a reported $10M commitment in total — behind 500 founders building agent-first companies on the platform.

Hyperagent is the better choice when

  • You already run a team and the job in front of you is one specific finished artifact — a campaign site, a hiring dashboard, a product video — produced fast, with the receipts (cost and time) shown up front on the homepage before you commit to a run, and no need to brief a person on the specifics first.
  • You want to watch the work happen step by step, in a real browser and a real shell, rather than hand a brief to a black box and wait to see what comes back at the end.
  • You want the output delivered straight into the tools your team already lives in — Slack, Telegram, a webhook, a schedule — without moving anyone's workday to a new platform to get it, and without a new login for anyone to remember.

AEQI is the better choice when

  • There's no team yet to hand a brief to, and what you're short of isn't a deliverable but the structure that would commission and own it in the first place — roles, a website, a history that starts before the first run.
  • You want memory that belongs to the company rather than to an individual agent, so what it learned in week one is still on hand in month three, even if any one agent is reassigned or retired along the way.
  • You want the record of a decision, not just its output — why a choice was made, who made it, and what it led to afterward — kept alongside the work itself, not scattered across separate runs with no thread connecting one to the next.
  • You'd rather pay a flat monthly rate for a standing team than meter every run in credits and watch a token bill move with the size and complexity of each brief you send, one invoice line at a time.

The difference in one sentence

Hyperagent is a workforce that ships finished work into the tools you already use, one brief at a time; AEQI is the company that work belongs to — staffed into roles, remembering what it decided and why, and answerable for what it ships.
